' Fundraisers Race For Life'

For the first time ever, Rhyl's Race For Life charity event allowed men and women to participate in the charity run. They all gathered on the Sunday morning at 11am.
Before the runners participated in the event, Radio Heart's radio DJ's Meg & Oli rallied up the runners to get them ready for the event.
The 5k run started at the town event area and the participates raced across Rhyl's promenade where it was estimated to event hosted over 1,200 runners.
The first home runner was Denbigh's local Kieran Kendrick, who was awarded a medal from Rhyl's Mayor, cllr Ellie Chard.The first woman home runner was Vicki Jackson from Prestatyn.
